The High Dependency Unit (HDU) accommodates for patients requiring intermediate care and continuous monitoring by the nursing staff. The HDU is located right outside the Intensive Care Unit and consists of two single rooms which are equipped with monitors for the better patient supervision. The direct monitoring and immediate response offered, reduces the patients’ risks.
